The story of the prophet Hosea is a story about a failed marriage riddled with broken promises, faithlessness, and abandonment. But it is also a story about unrelenting love despite that faithlessness. And it is through this story that God reveals his own loving nature to us.

God's love:
• reaches unlovely people
• pays a costly price to bring people into a relationship with God
• disciplines us, for love wants what's best for us
• holds out hope for new beginnings
