Welcome to Church

Whether you have previous experience with church or none at all, you are welcome here! We know that visiting a new church for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to help make your first experience at North Boulevard a great one. Every week we welcome new families and individuals who are learning their way around, just like you. You’re in good company.

Adults

Our goal is to provide a space for men and women of all ages to grow and mature in Christ together through:

  • Fellowship, community, & prayer

  • Engaging Bible studies

  • Opportunities to serve

We encourage all adults to participate in a Bible class each week and to get involved with one of our many ministries.

A man in a blue polo stands at the front of a classroom with a microphone. A whiteboard with “Holy Spirit” written on it sits behind him, and a woman (his wife) stands to the side next to him, listening to what he is saying.

Teens

Our mission in the North Boulevard Youth Group (nbyg) is to lead students towards deeper spiritual formation while offering a community of like-minded disciples!

Each of our locations have Bible classes available where every middle and high school student has the opportunity to engage with Bible-based lessons, receive mentorship from trusted adults, and form friendships with other teens.

Two teenage boys in blue short-sleeve, button-up shirts stand smiling and talking. More people stand in the large room behind them. The walls are decorated with old gas station signage.

Children

We believe that kids can and should have fun while learning about the love of Jesus and truth we find in the Bible. With Boulevard Kids (BK), we make this a priority.

We also prioritize your children’s safety. Because of that, we have secure check-points for all children’s areas, and all volunteers have completed a thorough background check.

The first time you visit, you’ll want to give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get signed in before the service begins. Children can be picked up after service or Bible class is over. Volunteers will alert you via text message if they need your assistance for anything.

A young boy in a blue plaid shirt and baseball hat smiles as he walks into the children’s area with his father. The walls are painted with bright yellow, orange, green, and blue stripes.

What to Expect

We gather weekly to worship God and to remember who we are as His people. A church service, or gathering, at North Boulevard is about 1 hour in length.
At any of our physical locations, you will find:

Gatherings begin with the Boulevard Worship team leading the church in congregational singing. The lyrics are projected onto the screen and everyone is always invited to sing along. In addition to our singing, we offer prayers of thanks and hear God’s Word through Scripture.

The Power of Many Voices

Senior Minister, David Young, stands in a light purple button up shirt with his arms spread out as he preaches on stage.

Every Sunday, our preaching minister, David Young (or a guest speaker) shares a powerful and inspiring message from the Bible with practical application and immediate life impact. You’ll be able to use what you learn in your every day life!

Scripture-based Teaching

Communion cups with small wafers and grape juice.

The message is then followed by a few more songs that get us ready to share in The Lord’s Supper, or Communion, which is a weekly celebration of what God did for us through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We have a gluten-free, dairy-free option at all campuses for those who need it.

The Lord's Supper

Let's cut to the chase. We understand that it can be uncomfortable to walk into a new place, so we want to tell you a little about what the culture at North Boulevard looks like. As you can see, some people dress up and others dress down. Whatever you wear, we just really hope to see you next Sunday!
